The Shocking Fact About Human Behaviour. Are You A Victim?

You’re hardwired by design to act in certain ways. It’s how we evolved and it’s only in the last sliver of time in our brief history that our environment and way of life has drastically changed.

Your brain is configured to detect life threatening situations and monitor your environment 24/7. The good news is that in this day and age, there’s hardly any true dangers that will kill you. Since we’ve transitioned into the information age, that innate mechanism has transferred over and is still operating in the background. The result? Chronic stress and acting unconsciously from the place of fear.

Yes, your automatic human behaviour may be reacting from a place of fear and you don’t even know it! Why is this so bad? Because when you act out of fear, you don’t have the clarity of mind to make intelligent and conscious decisions. What you fear, you eventually attract into your life because where your attention goes, energy flows. You’re a slave to your emotions and the only way to overcome that is to become more conscious and aware.

Ask yourself. Are you acting out of fear?

I know I have been for quite a long time. We all do it – it’s human. The challenge is to be aware of it and rise above it, being even minded so you can consciously direct your life in the direction you choose.

I remember about 2 years ago, when I was running my website business full time. My time management sucked. I didn’t know it and as a result I was faced with not enough income to pay for some expenses. My mind obviously saw this as a very real threat (it was… but not life-threatening), and it went through its old patterns and belief systems to see how it could solve it. Thoughts like “I need to get a part time job” and “Maybe I won’t be successful” and all those crap negative limiting thoughts came up. I was aware of them and was able to direct my attention to other creative ways I could generate some extra income. If I’d have acted on those fears, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Here are a few tips to avoid falling into the fear trap:

+ Become more aware of your thoughts by practicing meditation
+ Separate yourself (your being) with your thoughts (your ego)
+ Acknowledge the fear you’re feeling, but don’t act on it. Just be aware of it.
+ Discover and eliminate any limiting beliefs that are causing you to fear certain things.
+ Know that fear is just a feeling and it has no reality if you don’t give it any.
+ Remember the acronym: False Evidence Appearing Real

You have the power to change yourself. When you change yourself, you change your life. Act from a place of peace and love, and your life will be full of harmony. Avoid being around negative or fearful people because it is contagious. Instead, be secure in your self-created fortress of awareness, self-control, peace, joy, and love. Now that’s the true way to live!
